I also run the subliminal and ambience page, Nightshade’s Auralcraft. For more information about who I am and what I do, feel free to check out the Autobiography page of this website. Personal Data & Cookies
Personal data is collected and cookies are used only for the purpose of website functionality and communication:
❧ When leaving a comment on my website, you may opt in to save your name and email address as cookies for autofill purposes. This is typically handled on your browser’s end. On my end, each time you leave a comment, I may receive your name, email address, comment contents, and metadata, which is saved in my website’s database indefinitely. In addition, your IP address and browser user agent string (also called a hash) will be collected at this time for spam detection purposes and for the function of WordPress’s built-in Gravatar tools. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available to read here. If you choose to utilize the Gravatar service, your profile picture will also be displayed alongside your comment.
❧ If you have subscribed to receive updates via email for the Dezy Digest blog, you are agreeing to receive email updates delivered via the MailPoet Sending Service. The MailPoet Sending Service privacy policy is available to read here. In order to deliver these updates, I may receive your name and email address, which is saved in my website’s database indefinitely. In addition, your IP address and browser user agent string (also called a hash) will be collected at this time for spam detection purposes. The MailPoet Sending Service also allows me to track whether an email is opened and a link is clicked in order to improve the content of my articles and associated newsletters and to be able to keep my mailing list free of inactive email accounts.
❧ Finally, if you use the contact form on my Mailbox page to contact me, your name, email address, subject, and message content may be collected and forwarded to me via the WPForms service. WPForms’s privacy policy is available to read here. In contacting me through this form, you are also agreeing that I may communicate with you via the email you have provided.
❧ If you have utilized any of the aforementioned features on this website, you may request to receive an exported file of any personal data that is still stored in my database. You may also request the erasure of this data. Keep in mind that this does not include any data that I may be required to keep record of for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Anti-Spam Guarantee
I hate spam, and I find it has become increasingly prevalent in emails and texts as of late. Businesses and websites seem to require tons of emails and accounts these days to be able to utilize them, and as a result, we receive an exhausting number of email updates we never wanted. I do not wish to add to that. When subscribing to the Dezy Digest blog, you will only receive emails for the purpose of delivering updates on new posts and for any necessary account-relevant communications.
